The Astera AX5 TriplePar is a compact, battery-powered wireless par fixture that adapts to three distinct output configurations — par, tube, and top light — making it one of the most flexible tools in an event lighting inventory. RGBWW colour mixing gives it a wide colour range and good skin-tone rendering, and wireless DMX plus the Astera App means positioning is limited only by sightlines, not cable runs. It is a practical choice for uplighting, table lighting, and architectural accents at weddings, corporate events, and branded activations. Astera AX5 in practice

The Astera AX5 TriplePAR is a battery-powered, wireless LED PAR that has become the default uplighter for premium London and Home Counties events. It is weather-rated, runs a full evening from its internal battery, and takes CRMX wireless DMX, so it can sit exactly where the room needs colour without a cable run.

We use the AX5 for venue uplighting in hotels, country houses and marquees, for washing trees and facades at garden parties, and as a battery key light for content capture. For weddings we'll usually pair a set with a lighting designer's look sheet so the colour shifts with the running order.

How many AX5 uplighters do I need for a room?

As a rule of thumb, one fixture every 2 to 3 metres of wall gives an even wash in a hotel ballroom or marquee. A 150-guest dinner space is usually 16 to 24 units. We'll count it against your floor plan.

Can the Astera AX5 be used outdoors in the rain?

Yes. The AX5 is rated for outdoor use and we regularly deploy it on lawns, terraces and against buildings. We still position and protect fixtures sensibly and advise on charging for multi-day outdoor hires.

Do you deliver the Astera AX5 across London?
